Shawfield Star at the O2
We are immensely proud to announce that our KS2 Choir recently had the incredible opportunity to perform at the O2 Arena as part of the prestigious Young Voices concert series. This event, which brings together school choirs from across the country, is one of the largest children’s choir concerts in the world.
Our talented young singers have been rehearsing diligently over the past months, and their hard work paid off as they joined thousands of other children on the grand stage. The atmosphere at the O2 Arena was electric, filled with the excitement and energy of the young performers and their enthusiastic audience.
The concert featured a diverse repertoire, including pop classics, folk songs, and original compositions. Our choir’s rendition of these pieces was met with resounding applause and cheers. The highlight for many of our children was the chance to sing alongside professional musicians and performers, creating a truly unforgettable experience.
Parents and teachers who attended the concert were moved by the passion and dedication displayed by all the children. Participating in the Young Voices concert not only allowed our children to showcase their musical talents but also helped them build confidence and teamwork skills. It was an enriching experience that will undoubtedly inspire them to continue their musical journeys.
A big thank you to all the parents for their support and to Mrs. Griffth, Mrs Rennoldson, Mrs Morrissy and Mrs Dixon for their exceptional guidance and dedication in preparing the choir. We look forward to many more musical adventures in the future!
